William Albert O'Neill

William Albert O’Neill, 94, passed away April 6, 2020.   He graduated from Northwestern High School in Detroit. Following high school, he entered the U.S. Navy and was enlisted from 1943 to 1946.   On October 6, 1951, he married Laura Becht; they were married for 68 years.   William worked as a Press Operator for Drake Printing Company in Detroit. He liked golf, bowling, playing cards with his golf buddies, and was known as an avid train enthusiast. He and Laura loved to travel all over the U.S., but mostly frequented the eastern states, and enjoyed summers at the cottage with their family. He was also an active member of the New Hudson United Methodist Church.   William is survived by his loving wife Laura; children, Craig (Lynne), Judie O’Neill (Jeff Weaver), and Mark (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Jonathan (Stacie), Kyle, Hilary, Brooke, Nolan, and Mara (Jason); great-grandchildren, Sofia, Olivia, Amelia, and Conner.   Private family burial to take place. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
