Virginia Ann Main

Virginia Ann Main passed away December 28, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born in Detroit on June 14, 1937 to Harry and Martha (nee. Seifert) Harleton. She graduated from Redford High School.

On November 3, 1962, Virginia married Charles Main and they were married 59 years before his passing on May 3, 2022. They had three children, Ronald, Michael, and Lynda.

She had many jobs through the years. She worked at Northwest Theater in Detroit, Daily Restaurant, Ron's Donut Shop, Dunkin Donuts, and Comerica Bank kitchen staff, and was a babysitter. Virginia also volunteered for 20 years at the Livonia Senior Center in the kitchen cooking and serving food and helped with Meals on wheels.

Virginia loved Jesus and being active with Bible study classes and working on the funeral luncheon ministry at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. She also very much enjoyed camping, ice cream and chocolate candy, stamp and coin collecting, doll collecting, jig-saw puzzles and being with her family. She also loved her cat, Sasha.

Virginia is survived by her children, Ronald (Cara), Michael (the late Lisa), and Lynda (Jeff); grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Andrew, Amanda, Jessica, Dylan, Tyler, Cecelia, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Amelia, Kinzley, Henry, Abraham, Elliott, Nora, Bellamy, Noah, Colson, Lylla, Howard, Elias, Aurora, Elliott and Noah; and dear sister, Doris Moyer.

Virginia will be In-State from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14175 Farmington Road, Livonia 48154. Burial to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile, Livonia 48152.
