Viola Jean "Gore" Remer

Viola Jean Remer passed away December 1, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born September 23, 1929 in Bay City, MI to Basil and Margaretta Gore.   She loved Detroit Tigers baseball, playing pinochle and bingo.   She is survived by her children Lawrence William Jones, Thomas Craig Jones, Lorie Lyn Halucha, John Joseph Jones and Nancy Jean York; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   Visitation for Viola will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   Memorial Donations in memory of Viola may be made to any Veteran’s Organizations or to the Michigan Humane Society.
