Timothy Zelakiewicz

TIM died at home in the arms of his devoted wife, Bonnie. After serving with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam war, he made a career as a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service; he was 66. Tim is the dear father of Sandra (Val) Skiba, and Brian (Kristin) Zelakiewicz. He is the adored grandfather of 11: Kaitlin Zelakiewicz, Brandon Zelakiewicz, Kameron Zelakiewicz, Michelle McCormick, Melissa Winslow, Melanie Malago, Michael Malago, Mary Malago, Malorie Malago, Matthew Malago, and Olivia Skiba. Tim is also survived by brothers, Don and Paul Zelakiewicz. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 10th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, October 11th from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The American Legion will conduct a brief ceremony on Tuesday evening between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Services are Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. In the afternoon, at 1:30 p.m., a Committal Service with Honors will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery located at 4200 Belford Road in Holly.
