Teresa Pasquali

Teresa Pasquali (nee Foggia), of Livonia Michigan, peacefully went home to be with the Lord in
the early hours of Friday, August 11, 2023. Teresa was born on June 5, 1937 in Supino,
Frosinone, Italy to Giacinto Foggia and Adelia Calvetti. Teresa immigrated from Italy as a
teenager. Shortly after coming to the United States, Teresa met her husband Ugo, while working
at the family restaurant. It was love at first sight and they married on October 12, 1957. Teresa
and Ugo went on to have four daughters.

Teresa was a strong, caring, loving mother, sister and Nonni. She loved having her house filled
with family and making sure everyone was well fed and taken care of. Teresa will be
remembered for those chocolate chips you were lucky to find in a cookie, her endless supply of
ciamellas and chasing you out of the house with a broom if you were misbehaving! When she
wasn’t cooking for the neighborhood, (her family all settled down in the same block!) Teresa
could be found playing cards, gardening, going for walks, tending to her home or having Italian
coffee with sambuca. If she wasn’t home, she might be out in a field, with a bandana wrapped
around her hair, picking cicoria with her best friend, Nancy. We could also always count on her
to have a tissue or a tic tac in her purse (but never her wallet!). She was a no nonsense woman
but for her family, Teresa was a rock and always gave not only unconditional love, but
knowledge and the means to learn how to survive when she no longer was with us.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ugo, her four daughters, Adele Hamel (Mark),
Joann Harper (James), Maria Estep (Luie Miller), and Tina Pasquali (Ryan Stewart). Teresa will
be remembered as Nonni to her six grandchildren, Jason Stevens, Jessica Howlin (Jared),
Jaclyn Harper, Jimmy Estep (Tawny), Shawn Hamel (Victoria), Kristina Nightingale (Nic). Teresa
was also a great grandmother to Joseph, Jonathon, Sophia, Ava, Ella, Olivia, James, Raymond,
Alannah, Adalynn, Lorenzo, and Abella.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Giacinto and Adelia, and her brother Vincent. She also
leaves behind her brothers Fred and Tony, and sisters Josephine, Benita, Gina, and Lucy. She
also leaves behind many extended family members.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Manns Family Funeral
Home. A rosary service will be at 6:30 pm. Funeral mass will be on Friday, August 18, 2023 at
10:00 am at St. Priscilla Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan.
