Sandra Lee Vakratsis (Klann)

Sandra Vakratsis, 81, of Livonia Michigan passed away on August 27

Sandy was born in Detroit on December 16, 1940, to Norman and Ruth (nee. Lancour) Klann. She attended Chadsey High School in Detroit.

She was married to Steve on April 5, 1959; they were married for 63 years.

Sandy enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. She also loved watching true crime stories on ID channel. She was a sports mom when her children were growing up. She enjoyed spending time with and talking to her granddaughters and going on family vacations.

She was strong in her Catholic faith and her church.

Sandy is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Rebecca and son Jeff (Diane)

She is also survived by her granddaughters Alexa (Matt), Christina and Alexondria, her sister Norma and her nieces, nephews and other family.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Ruth, her son Greg and her sister Shirley.

Visitation will be held on September 2 from 3-8pm at Manns Funeral Home Livonia.

She will be in-state for final visiting on September 3 at 9:30am with mass at 10am, at St Priscilla Church Livonia. Procession to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow.
