Samuel Wesley Manees

Samuel Wesley Manees, 34, passed away on October 2nd, 2020. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 1st, 1986. He was the son of late father Michael and is survived by his loving Wife Katie, his mother Denise, Sister Lauren, Uncle Ray, Uncle Ed, Aunt Karen, Uncle Paul, Cousin Todd, Todd’s wife Cassey, and Sam’s niece Sofia. Sam graduated from Canton High School in 2004 where he was a member the varsity swim team. Sam loved taking care of his patients in hyperbaric's and recently started a new career path at Ford Motor Company.     Sam was the most amazing brother and son. He was so incredibly caring, thoughtful, proud, and strong. He always knew how to make his mother and sister feel special. Sam had a deep love for his family and it showed. His love for others was inspiring to so many. Sam always had a way to make them laugh when they were feeling down. He was passionate about life and always had a way to encourage us to follow our hearts and goals.    Sam spent the last two weeks married to the love of his life Katie and got to celebrate their love with a beautiful ceremony and reception. Sam and Katie loved celebrating football Sunday’s with pizza and beer bongs. “Sammy the Lammy” was a cherished uncle to his niece Sofia and they lit up every time they were in the same room.   “The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.”   Visitation for Sam will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM with the funeral service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
