Rosalie Loraine "Sladewski" Eichsteadt

Rosalie Loraine Eichsteadt (lovingly known as “Rose”), age 80, of Livonia, MI passed away suddenly on January 7, 2020.  Rose was born in Detroit, MI on March 30, 1939 to Anthony and Stella Sladewski.   On May 11, 1957 Rose married Merold (Mel) and they were married for 62 years.  Rose managed the kitchen of Clarenceville Schools for many years to children of all ages.  Rose’s interests were infinite.  She was always up for doing something new and enjoyed spending as much time with her family as possible!  She especially loved making perogies with her children and grandchildren!  Her love, her enthusiasm, and drive lifted everyone!   Rose is survived by her husband, Merold; her children, Catherine (the late Ronald) Braun, Donald (Janice), and Christopher (Virgine) Eichsteadt; her siblings, Robert (Sharon) and Raymond (Pat) Sladewski; her grandchildren Sarah and Brian (Carrianne) Braun, Tyler, Mailys, Lydie, and Lyle Eichsteadt; her great-grandchildren Camden and Mackinley Braun; and her many nieces and nephews.   Rose is preceded in death by her Father, Anthony and Mother, Stella Sladewski, and Brother, Anthony Sladewski.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Rose may be given to the Michigan Humane Society.   Visitation for Rosalie will be held Sunday, January 12th from 2:00 - 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   Rosalie will be In-State for final visiting on Monday, January 13th from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh, Livonia 48154.
