Refugia S. "Fury" Preciado (Sauceda)

In our most loving memory of Refugia “Fury/Cuca” Preciado, who went home to be with our Lord on April 19, 2021 at the age of 67.
Fury was born in Elsa,Texas on June 10, 1953 to Benigno and Rosa Sauceda. She was the oldest of 11 children.
Fury was married to Javier Preciado on December 18,1971. This year marks their 50th anniversary.
Fury worked at Heublein for a number of years along with her brother Ben, sister Mirella and sister-in-law Ene. In 2000, she began maintaining the offices for Michigan State Police. During her working career she befriended many people instantly and maintained lifelong friendships. She always had a smile on her face and loved to praise the Lord for All her Blessings. She enjoyed listening to sermons and worship music, learning about the Bible, being with family who she adored and taking care of her mom. She taught her grandchildren to play Rummikub and always had games and toys for them to play with. She was always so kind, generous, giving, loving and genuine. One of her favorite passages of scripture was Psalm 23 which she found great comfort in.
Fury is survived by her husband Javier; children Javier “Clem” (Diana), Leticia “Tish”, Alicia “Lee” (Avelino), and Abrahan “Abee” (Tiffany); grandchildren Jessel, Eliana, Yesenia, Ramon, Alondra, Avelino, Alessandro, Luca, Elijah and Isaiah; son-in-law, Antonio; and her grand furbabies, Sadie, Lana, Daisy, Arya, and Olive, and Scrim; her mother Rosa M. Sauceda and brothers and sisters, Benigno (Enedelia), Gilberto (Rufina), Mirella (Mohamed), Ismael (Renate), Sandra, Joel (Renee), Graciela (Jesus), Guillermo (Evelia), Elisa (Fafa) and Daniel, along with several half-siblings and over 40 nieces and nephews.
Fury is preceded in death by her father Benigno; sister Sofia; brother in-law Mohamed; sister-in-law Renee.
The visitation will be held April 25, 2021 from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt Rd. in Livonia, MI and the funeral service will be held on April 26, 2021 at 11:00am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1050 Porter in Detroit, MI 48226.
Memorial donations in memory of Refugia Preciado may be made to Most Holy Trinity Church in Detroit.
