Olga Phillips

Olga Woitas Phillips , 104, passed away on November 2, 2026. Olga was born in West Bend, Saskatchewan, Canada on October 28, 1922. She was the second oldest child of Steven and Rose Woitas, who had a total of sixteen children. She helped out on their farm, with the other children, until she was thirteen years old and left for Manitoba. 

Eventually she ended up in Chatham, Ontario, where she met Nickolas Phillips and they married in 1947. In the 1950's, they moved to Livonia, Michigan. Olga was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking, cultivating her land and flower gardens. After her children were grown she worked at Woodland Lanes Bowling Alley in Livonia until she was 84 years old.

She was the mother of Rosemary Ventittelli (John Codd) , Donald (Mary Jane) and David (Sharon). Grandmother of Laura Ortner (William), Rebecca Basch and Katie Roy (Todd). Great Grandmother to Ally, Caden, Phoenix, Ella and Marcus.
