Nancy Carol Mehelich

On May 25, 2025, Nancy Carol Mehelich passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was surrounded by an abundance of love.

Nancy was a career Registered Nurse with Providence Hospital. She found the most joy in working in the maternity ward, neo-natal care unit, and labor and delivery. Her greatest joy was her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gordon Mehelich, and her 8 children, Joseph Mogielski, John Mogielski (Deceased)(Patricia), Angela Cassini, Melody Kuefler (Deceased), Edward Mogielski (Jeannie), Paula Johnson (Rodney), Ryann Mehelich, and Preston Jones; nephew, Daniel Gardner; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, David Charles Pilgrim and Paula Mary Casey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Pilgrim; son, John Joseph Mogielski; daughter, Melody Ann Kuefler, and 2 grandchildren, John and Jackie Mogielski.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to The Medical Team Hospice of Livonia.

Nancy will be truly missed and her love will shine upon us every day.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th from 3:00 - 8:00 PM with a Nightingale Tribute at 5:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
