Michael "Mike" Phillip Olandese passed away July 1, 2026 at the age of 71. He was born September 24, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Carlo and Rose Olandese.

Mike retired from his career as a Millwright in the automotive industry and then followed his passion as a knife enthusiast. He became a custom knifemaker and avid collector of rare and custom knives. Mike was also a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching whenever he could.

Mike is survived by his brother, John (Charlotte), his nephew and nieces, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlo and Rose, and his sister, Nancy.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11th from 12:00 - 4:00 PM with a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
