Michael Joseph Morrison Sr.

Michael J. Morrison, Sr., Ret. Lt. Colonel, U.S. Army passed away on June 7, 2018.  Born in St. Charles, MI on November 20, 1918.  Proudly served in the military for 33 years.  Veteran of WWII.   Beloved husband of Lorraine (1946-1990) and Joan (1991-2002).  Loving father of Patricia Mertz, Michael J. Morrison Jr., Col. Kathleen Morrison, Colleen Morrison and Daniel Morrison.   Grandfather to William Mertz, Michael Mertz, Laura (Rob) Carner, Lisa (Michael) Pilley, Jennifer (John) Murray. Daniel Pederson, Krista Pederson, Lynn Corker, Greg (Mehgan) Corker, Lauren Corker, Rachel Morrison and Shanna Morrison.   Great grandfather to McKenna and Andrew Pilley, Alex and Cece Carner, Rachel and Michael Mertz, Regan and Reese Murray, Addisyn Corker and Newell Corker.   Visitation will be held at Manns Family Friday, June 8th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm.   Funeral Mass will be Saturday, June 9th at 11:00 am at St. Edith Church, 15089 Newburgh Road, Livonia. In state at church at 10:30 am.  Interment will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
