Mary Anna Colasanti (DiMambro), of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Friday September 10th, 2021, after 95 full years of family, food, love, and life.
Mary was born in Cassino, Italy on September 24, 1925 to Maria Guiseppa and Antonio DiMambro. When she was 12 years old She immigrated to America through Ellis Island on September 27, 1937. Her family settled in metro Detroit. She married Giovanni Colasanti and raised a family with him until he passed in 1986.
When Mary wasn’t spending time with her loving family, she worked at the family restaurant, DiMambro’s, Hudson’s and Jacobson’s. She loved cooking, traveling, gardening, fashion, family, sunbathing, boating, and her exercise classes. She was also actively involved in the Go-Getters of Livonia and the Livonia Senior Center.
Mary is survived by her children: Cecilia Coffey (Lawrence Coffey), Luisa Colasanti-Cartier (Steven Cartier), John Colasanti (Debra Colasanti). As well as her grandchildren: Kevin and Karolyn Coffey (Michael Grech), Danielle Cartier, and Lauren and Julia Colasanti. And her great grandchildren: Larry Doan-Coffey, and Tyler and Dylan Slabaugh.
Mary will be joining her beloved family members in heaven. Reuniting with her husband, Giovanni Colasanti; companion, Roger Picano; siblings, Alex, Mario, Vince and Guido DiMambro; and her grandson, Joseph Coffey.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 20th, 2021 at 9:30 am at St Aidan Catholic Church: 17500 Farmington Road Livonia, Michigan 48152.
