Marjory Kathryn Modie Capodilupo

Marjory Kathryn Modie Capodilupo of Livonia, MI passed into eternal rest on May 17,2026.

She was the daughter of Dr. Paul and Kathryn Modie and devoted wife to Arthur Capodilupo, with whom she shared a loving partnership built on quiet strength and unwavering support.

For more than 30 years, Marjory dedicated herself to educating and inspiring students as a beloved Biology and Anatomy teacher at Mercy High School. Many credit her with sparking lifelong passions and helping them see their own potential.

Above all, Marjory was a devoted mother to her four children, who were the joy and center of her life. She poured her heart into nurturing their growth, celebrating their milestones, and guiding them with patience and grace.

Survived by her children, Ann (Paul) Bonvallet, Stephanie (Dan) Williams, Paul Capodilupo, John (Mary Ann) Capodilupo; grandchildren, Paul, Joseph, Elizabeth, Courtney, Catlin, Laura, Kathryn, Tony, Lilly, James, Olivia, John, and Danial; great grandchildren, Oliver, Joseph, Rebecca, Rosie, Henry, Molly, Grace, Tommy, Juliet, Colette, Benjamin, Adeline (with baby sister on the way), Hudson, Jonah, and Aria.

Her family, friends, students, and church will remember her gentle spirit, her quiet strength, and the countless lives she touched simply by being who she was.

Memorial Mass for Marjory will be held Friday, June 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with a gathering at 9:30 AM at St. Priscilla Catholic Church.
