Marjorie Clara Abbotts (Pratt)

Marjorie (Marge or Margie) Clara Abbotts, age 99 of Taylor, MI formerly of Livonia, MI, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Margie was born in Huntington, IN on 04/22/1922 to the late Loren J and Georgia G Pratt. She graduated from Huntington High School.

Margie was married to Clyde R Abbotts on 08/26/1949; they were married 46 years.

Margie worked as a Blueprint Filer for Ford Motor Company. Her hobbies and interests were shopping, meeting her friends at coffee shop weekly to play cards, sketching, crocheting, and bowling. She was actively involved in the Elks Lodge. She will be remembered as a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Margie is survived by her two children, Deborah (the late Vaughn) Robinson and Michael K (Patricia) Abbotts ; three grandchildren, Todd (Cindy) Morgan, Michael B (Joelle) Abbotts and Brent Abbotts; two great grandchildren, Amber and Victoria Morgan; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Margie is preceded in death by husband, Clyde and siblings, Louis and Kendrick Pratt and Helen Henrotin.

The Visitation will be held on November 4, 2021 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at Manns Family Funeral Home and the funeral service will be held on November 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, MI 48154.

Memorial donations in memory of Marjorie Abbotts can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
