Loraine D. "Isbrandt" Eliason

Loraine D. Eliason, 92, passed away April 4, 2020. She was born August 23, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI.    Loraine had a degree in occupational therapy and worked in that field for several years.  She married Arthur F. Eliason on October 11, 1952 and they were married for 43 years.        “Sweet Loraine” was happily involved with most aspects of her children’s and grandchildren’s daily lives.   Always giving of her time and talent, Loraine would do anything for anyone whenever she was asked, and just as often without being asked.   Everyone was happy to share in her gift for baking fabulous sweets.   She was always happy to play a game of cards, Scrabble, or a great round of golf.   Loraine was devoted to her faith and actively involved with Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills.        She is the beloved Mother of Art (Laura) Eliason, Lorry (Russ) Prus, and Barbara Eliason and cherished grandmother of Chris Eliason, Miranda (nee. Eliason) Green, Michelle Prus and Matthew Prus.         A Memorial Service for Loraine will be held at a later date.   Memorial donations in memory of Loraine may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Michigan Chapter.
