Linda Susan Abram (Birch)

Linda Susan Abram, 71, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 6, 1950 to Harry Alfred Birch and Wanda Mae Fuqua (Call).

Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Susan (Joseph) Chaput and her sweet grandchildren, Breanna, Christopher, and Amber Chaput. She was the step daughter to Illene Birch. Sister-in-law to Sandy Birch and sister to Marcy (Kevin) May. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and loved by other family members and dear friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harry Alfred Birch; her mother, Wanda Mae Fuqua (Call); her brother’s, Dale Birch and Kenneth Birch and her sister, Tracy Birch.

Linda worked at St. Mary’s Mercy Hospital for 21 years before retiring. Before working at the hospital, she worked at Hubert Elementary School and Corsi’s Restaurant. She loved her family and friends more than anything and loved getting together for family reunions and parties. Her joys in life were watching her grandchildren grow, reading, doing crossword puzzles, listening to country music, camping and playing cards. Linda was very friendly, kind, caring of others, and a gentle soul, who always saw the good in everyone. She will be greatly missed.

The Visitation for Linda will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Manns Family Funeral Home.

Linda will be In-State on October 23, 2021 at 10:30 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
