Kenneth G. Bruce passed away April 14, 2021 at the age of 93.
He was a proud Italian American, who served his country in the U. S. Army. Kenneth owned an excavating company with his father and two brothers; later a bowling alley and ice-cream store in Gatlinburg, TN.
Kenneth enjoyed eating at many of the Detroit Area Italian eateries, had a passion for playing the Accordion and was a long-time player, coached several little league baseball teams in West Bloomfield and Franklin, and loved watching his children and grandchildren participate in various sports activities, such as hockey, baseball, cross-country and track. He also enjoyed taking trips to Tennessee and Florida with his family.
Kenneth was the loving husband of Phyllis for 59 years; dear father of Anthony, Dino, Teri and Cara; loving grandfather of Anthony, Cristiana, Dominic, Jillian, Griffin and Caroline.
He will be remembered as a “jokester” who loved to laugh with family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
