Kazuko Francetic

Kazuko (Arita) Francetic, of Livonia, passed away at age 85 on August 7, 2018. She was born on November 19, 1932 in Kakogawa, Japan.   Kazuko was married to the late Gerald L. Mueller. She was later remarried to the late James L. Francetic.   Kazuko had a long career as a seamstress which included working at Crowley’s, Lord & Taylor, and Hudsons. She had a passion for bridge, square dancing, and reading. She also volunteered her time at St. Mary Mercy Hospital.    She is survived by her daughter, Risa D Scherer (Walter); stepson, Ronald L Francetic; and grandchildren, Clarke Scherer, Luke Scherer, Brenda Bunn, Noel Surma, Dustin Francetic, and Trish Francetic. She also leaves behind her dog, Cindy.   Donations in Kazuko's name to Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Angela Hospice are welcome and appreciated.   Visitation will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 30650 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, Michigan, 48152.
