Karen Pauline Gerhard

Karen was a loving wife, Mother,Grandmother,Sister,Daughter,Niece,Cousin and friend to those that she's left behind.  As a family we will always remember Karen as a person that spoke her mind, preferred warm weather to cold and truly enjoyed time with her loved ones. She was a wife to Bill, mother to Billy and Kevin, a grandmother to K.J., Hannah, Riley and Brandon and sibling to Diane (Ron), Peter (Diana), Sue (Terry) and Lynne (Dave).  She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pete and Bea Weinrauch. Karen battled lung cancer for the past 2 years and was very determined to beat this nasty disease but lost the battle and passed away when she was only 60 years old.  While she left us early, Karen lived a full life with her close family and friends here in Michigan and also in Arizona. Rest in peace Karen. We will miss you dearly and we will always love you. A gathering of friends will take place on Friday, December 26th from 11 AM to 6 PM. at the funeral home. Services are scheduled for 5:30 PM with Fr. Tony Massad officiating. Please share a thought or memory.
