Joy Bledsoe

Joy Bledsoe was 80 years of age at the time of her death, in Metropolis, Illinois. She is the beloved wife of the late Max; and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Joy is survived by her dear children: Sue (Rick) Raine of New Boston, IL, Ellen (Gary) Pratt of Romulus, MI, Cindy Wass of Standish, MI, Nathaniel (Idell) Smith of Livonia, MI, Nancy Smith of Standish, MI, Pat (Cheri) Bledsoe of Westland, MI, Mike (Kim) Bledsoe of Westland, MI, and Kate Kerley or Metropolis, IL. Joy is also survived by two sisters: Laura Dalati of Whittier, California, and Jeanette Farmer of Metropolis, IL; and a brother, Cliff Patton of Las Vegas, NV. Fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren adored Joy. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lura (Fields) Patton, three sisters, Belva McElhanney, Jo Settler, Marian Settler, and a brother, Frank Patton. The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, in Livonia. Please share a memory or thought.
