John Stanley Wasilewski

A man of refined tastes, passed on in the universe on August 13, 2016.  He was one month shy of his 91st birthday and the last surviving sibling to Sophie, Helen and Emily, his older sisters.  His parents immigrated here from Poland. He spent time in the Navy during World War II.  He graduated from Arts and Crafts in Detroit and was a true artist.  He had a career as a clay modeler at the Ford Motor Company.  He leaves behind his life long friend Larry Gibson.   Visitation for John will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt Road, (South of 6 Mile Rd) Livonia. The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00PM at the funeral home.
