Jimmy Joe Hernandez Jimmy Hernandez, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, age 62 passed away May 11, 2017.  He was cherished by many friends and family. He is survived by his children Carlos, Olivia and Malissa (Jerod). Grandchildren Olympia, Orlando, Romeo, Edmund and Gabriel. He is preceded in death by his eldest sister Mary Lou, he is also survived by his siblings Mary Jane, Martha, Cleo, Yolanda, Mike, Jacob and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy Loved , music, good food, hot cars, cruising and spending time with family friends. His smile and stubbornness will be missed.  He made friends wherever he went. Jimmy didn’t want a traditional funeral, his wishes were that family and friends gathered to share a meal, have a drink and toast to the good times and our love him.  We will have a Celebration of Life event to do what he loved most.  Family and friends are invited to share a meal, have drinks and listen to great music to honor his life Sunday May 13th at J’s Fields 18490 Ford Rd Detroit, MI 48228
