Jeanette "Jeannie" Willoughby , 94, of Livonia, MI, passed away on October 13, 2026. She was born in Detroit on February 20,1932 to Luke and Agnes Rooney. She graduated from Redford Union High School in 1948.

On June 28, 1952, Jeanette was married to William "Bill" Willoughby; they were married for 63 years before Bill's passing in 2015.

Jeanette worked as an administrative assistant for Annapolis Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, bowling and spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of the Elks Club in both Michigan and Florida.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Henson (Walter); her grandchildren, Jeanette Henson (Michael), William Willoughby, and Andrew Willoughby.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Willoughby and her son, William Willoughby.

The Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 1:00 pm at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.

Memorial donations in memory of Jeanette may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
