James "Jim" Arthur Muir, 80, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on January 11, 2021.
He was born in Detroit, MI on July 11, 1940 to Arthur and Bessie Muir. He graduated from Bentley High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. James was married to Lorraine on May 10, 1969; they were married 50 years.
James worked as an IT analyst, Vice President of IT for Comerica Bank before he retired. He enjoyed hanging out with his grandkids and golfing.
James is survived by his wife, Lorraine, his kids, Taraella and Stephen, and his 3 grandkids Victoria, Alexander and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Judy and Linda.
The visitation for James will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home,17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
