Hilda Sue Reault, age 88, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on October 20, 2021.
Hilda was born in Dadeville, Alabama on November 23, 1932. She graduated from Dadeville High School and continued on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Education from Auburn University.
She was married to Jack C. Reault. They met while she was teaching in Lakeland, Florida. After marrying, they settled in Livonia, Michigan.
Hilda worked for Livonia Public Schools where she retired as a paraprofessional. She enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing in their lives. Her hobbies included gardening, daylilies add birds. She was actively involved in her faith at Newburg United Methodist Church. She was involved in several community organizations, including the Livonia Goodfellows. Hilda also worked with the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Hilda will be dearly missed as she was always there for everyone with her kindness, helpfulness, and wisdom.
Hilda is survived by her three children, David Reault, Charlie Reault, and Jennifer Houttekier. Grandchildren, Kristen Reault, Jackie Reault, and Paul Wolfert. Great grandchildren, Jace, Shane, and Sullivan Wolfert. Niece, Lauren Graves and nephews, Patrick Graves and Robert Tucker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Reault. Sisters, Helen Tucker and Martha Graves. Niece, Kathy Tucker and nephew, Dawson Graves.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 25th from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
Hilda will be In-State for final visiting on Tuesday, October 26th from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Newburg United Methodist Church, 36500 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia 48150. Burial following at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
