Herbert George

HERBERT was 88 years of age at the time of his peaceful passing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Lena. Herb is the beloved brother of Joe George (Irene), Wallace George (the late Florence), Louise George, and the late Carmen. He leaves to cherish his memory, 25 nieces and nephews, other family members, and numerous friends. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Herb served in the United States Army, and was awarded five Bronze Service Stars during World War II campaigns in Europe. His ashes will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to ANGELA HOSPICE or the SALVATION ARMY. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Please share a memory.
