Helen Smarda

Passed away on December 25, 2012, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Herman C. Smarda. Dear mother of Judy Smarda-Bredin, Alan, Donald and Robert. Grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 26 and great-great grandmother of 8. Sister of Genevieve Grasby and the late Edward; also many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Helen will be held on Thursday, December 27, from 1 until 8 PM, with Rosary being said at 3 PM. Helen will be in State on Friday, December 28, beginning 10:15 until time of Mass at 11 AM, at St. Genevieve/St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison, Livonia, followed by entombment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
