Helen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 101. She would have reached her 102nd birthday on February 3rd!
She is the beloved wife of the late Edward; dear mother of the late William Robert Ax Sr.; Grandmother of Judy (Pete) Kies, Nancy Roye, William (Angela) Ax Jr. , and great-grandmother of Austin Kies, Brandon and Samantha Roye.
Helen was the last of the Malchie siblings to die, as she was preceded in death by Louis Malchie, Mary Malchie and Raymond Malchie.
Friends will be welcomed on Friday, January 31, at 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm.
Burial will take place privately at Grandlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
