Harvey Kenneth Huff passed away July 4, 2016 at the age of 94. He was born August 11, 1921 in Evansville, Indiana. He served in WWII as a gunner on the destroyer, USS COOPER. A true Christian and a devoted Bible reader, Harvey served as Deacon for 50 years at Fundamental Baptist Temple and Bethel Baptist Temple - Livonia. He also taught the Jr. High and Adult Married classes and coached the youth softball team. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. Harvey is the loving father of Donald (Bonnie) Huff, and Diane Williams; grandfather to Robert (Charla) Williams, Brian (Jennifer) Huff, Kimberly (Chris) Richey, and extended family; great grandfather to Eric and Emma Richey, Brendan and Connor Huff, and Leo and Nate Williams; brother of Paul Huff and Yvonne (Earl) Zoll. Harvey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucille Huff, his parents John Sherman and Verlie Huff, and his siblings, Elsie Reed, Millie Burns, Daisy Campbell and Victor Huff. Visitation for Harvey will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154, with the burial to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
