Harry L. Pheney

Harry died at the age of 78, the beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Matthews)for 44 years. Harry is the loving father of Michael (Tina), Barbara (Ed) Sullivan, Carolyn (John) Provagna, Joanne (Mark) Moening, and the dear Grandpa of 13: Krista, Michael, Marc, Patrick, Megan, Eddie, Tommy, Erin, Matthew, Sean, Abby, Stephen, and David. Harry is survived by his brother, Thomas B. (Gloria), and is the son of the late Edward and Sylvia Pheney. Harry was Founder and President of Pheney Glass Company, now known as the Glasco Corporation located in Detroit. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 1st from 3 to 8 pm, and Monday, July 2nd from 1 to 8 pm. Harry will be in state Tuesday, July 3rd at 10:15 am at St.Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road (S. of 5 Mile Road,) until the time of Funeral Mass 11 am. The family suggests Memorials to the charity of your choice, or to St. Kenneth Catholic Church.
