George E. VanSach, 85, of Redford, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, following a decade-long struggle with Dementia and then Alzheimer's. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 15, 1939, to George and Kathrine VanSach.
He was a proud alumnus of the Lawrence Technological University and longtime member/staff at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and Sacred Heart Byzantine Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan.
He is survived by son Thomas, daughter-in-law Shannon, granddaughter Mykaela, and his sisters Phyllis (Degesie) and Mary (Alestra), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his wife Diane (deceased 2004) and son Edward (deceased 1994).
A graveside service will take place Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens, 17840 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48152.
