Genevieve A. Kay

GENEVIEVE was 86 years of age at the time of her death, in Farmington Hills. Genevieve was very active in St. Priscilla Church, a member of Livonia Senior Citizens and a great role model as a MOM. Genevieve is the beloved wife of the late Edward Chester Kay; and dear mother of Douglas (Darlene) Kay, Richard (Rosemarie) Kay, Audrey (the late John) Nielson, Sharon (Dane) Ball, and the late James (the late Marcella) Kay. Genevieve is the adored grandmother of Kathrine Hutchinson, Edward Kay, Christopher and Corinne Nielson, and Jeremy and Raechel Kowalski. She is also the great grandmother of William and Thomas Hutchinson, and Madison Nielson. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday (7/20) and Wednesday (7/21)from 2-9PM with a Rosary prayed on Wednesday evening at 7PM. Funeral Mass is Thursday (7/22) at 12:00 Noon at St. Priscilla Catholic Church 19120 Purlingbrook, in Livonia. A Committal Service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, and envelopes are available at the funeral home. Please share a memory or condolence.
