Eleanor Olive Ropes

Passed away at the age of 98, a resident of Redford, MI. Born on December 14, 1913, in Highland Park, MI, Eleanor is the daughter of Andrew McLean and Annie Catherine McIntyre. Eleanor graduated from Highland Park High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University. Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Donald L. Quaife and Gilbert E. Ropes. She is the loving mother of Arthur W. Quaife of San Jose, CA and Nancy J. Quaife of New York, NY. Visitation for Eleanor will be on Saturday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m. Chaplain Kent Aughe of the Village of Redford, will officiate. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI Please share a condolence or memory with the family.
