Eleanor May Benedict Briggs

Eleanor passed away on Tuesday at the age of 97.  She was predeceased by her loving husbands, Anthony and Charles. Beloved mother of Barbara Jamo, Richard and Robert Benedict. She will be dearly missed by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Eleanor was involved in many thing during her lifetime, but her most proud contribution was to the WWII war effort as a “Rosy the Riveter” assembler on bomber aircraft.  Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 18th, from 1 until 8 PM, with a Trisagion Service at 4 PM. Funeral Service will be on Monday the 19th, at the funeral home  at 11 AM. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI.  Please share a memory or thought with the family.
