Elaine Lucille "Dickey" Shipe

Passed away January 11, 2016 at the age of 91. She was born in Niles, Michigan. Beloved wife of the late Donald.  Dear Mother of Lori (Robert) Bryant and Dan Twietmeyer, the late Scott Shipe and Dena Twietmeyer.  Grandmother of Robert and Tyler Bryant, Elli and Jacob Twietmeyer.  Sister of Mary Knoll, Eleanor Thayer and the late John Dickey. Elaine's primary focus was always to help others.  She was very involved in Girl Scouts, Red Hat Society, The Sewing Guild and Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church. She loved to cook and was tremendously creative in designing all sorts of costumes especially Halloween costumes, Santa Claus costumes and costumes for theatrical productions. Visitation at Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church, 9601 Hubbard at West Chicago, Livonia Friday 1-2PM with a service at 2PM. Family suggests memorials to the Church.
