Edward Paul Valmont

Edward Valmont, 67, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 after a long battle with multiple myeloma.   He attended Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory School in Orchard Lake, and then the University of Notre Dame. Ed worked as a carpenter for many years, and later worked for the City of Livonia in the Public Works Department. He enjoyed being busy with home improvement projects, tending his yard, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, willingness to help and easy-going nature.   He is survived by daughter, Erin; son, Jesse (Christine); and loving friend Bonnie; his sister Rita (Robert) and five nephews, Dan, Mike, Mark, Christian and Joshua. Edward was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother, Bruce and half-sister, Marilyn.   Visitation for Edward will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 from 2:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154
