Our beloved Mother, Doreen Aveian Favaro, age 87 of Redford Township, Michigan, passed away on March 30th, 2023.
Doreen was born on December 31, 1935. She was born to Henry and Annie Yates in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.
On June 22, 1954 Doreen married our late father, Louis Favaro.
Doreen was a homemaker and mother of six children. She enjoyed playing cards and gambling at the Casino. She mostly enjoyed time with her family gathering for special occasions and sing-alongs.
She is survived by her children Leo Favaro, Linda Kerr (husband Greg), Anna Sharp, Angela Stringfield (husband James), Jim Favaro (wife Tracy), and Chris Favaro (wife Julie). She is also survived by her sister, Carol Peters of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
Doreen (Granny) was dearly loved by her 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
