Doreen Michelle Beauchamp

Doreen Michelle Beauchamp, age 43, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on March 25, 2017. Doreen is survived by her mother, Barbara Beauchamp; best friend and soul mate, Bill Adams; siblings, John (Janine) Beauchamp, Thom (Jackie) Beauchamp, and Suzie (Jared) Willmott; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Beauchamp. Doreen’s life was one of quiet perseverance as she faced numerous health problems brought on since becoming a diabetic at the age of 11.  Losing her strength, her eye sight, her kidneys and being literally brought back to life when her heart stopped after surgery, she always bounced back from the lowest of lows.  After a kidney transplant in 2001, and a pancreas transplant in 2006, she started to finally make progress in overcoming some of her chronic health problems.  When she started working out with a personal trainer, she became stronger and healthier.  She was an inspiration to those who knew her as she faced her many challenges with grace and her sweet, beautiful smile.  Sadly, after reconstructive bone surgery on her ankle, she contracted a rare and deadly fungal infection that went to her brain.  She managed to once again come back from the very edge of death.  She was making great strides to recover from yet another health challenge when she unexpectedly and inexplicably went into cardiac arrest and died.  Doreen’s spirit, now free from the limitations of her body, is better able to bless loved ones and all of God’s creatures which she loves so profoundly. Doreen will always be remembered for her indomitable spirit, her quick wit, and warm smile.  She was always the first to lift and cheer others, no matter what she was going through.  She loved horses and dogs, and lovingly raised several of both.  She will be sorely missed by all whose lives were touched by her friendship and love. Visitation for Doreen will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154. Doreen will be In-State with Final Visiting on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 9:30 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook, Livonia, 48152.
