Donald "Don" Robert Rauschert, 69, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 21, 2021.
Don was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 24, 1952 to Rudolph and Adelyne Rauschert. At the age of three, he moved to Detroit and then to Livonia, Michigan.
Don graduated from Clarenceville High School, and he continued taking classes at Schoolcraft College and at Western Michigan University.
Don worked in retailing at Sears followed by many years of caring for his parents at home. He enjoyed reading, including many versions of the Bible. Don looked forward to family gatherings. He generously helped those with more needs than him.
Don is survived by his brother Allen (Sue); his nieces, Michelle (Andy) and Karen, many cousins, and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents in 2001.
There will be a private burial service.
Memorial donations in memory of Don may be made to The Salvation Army.
