Donald Ladislov Pokorny

Donald “Don” Ladislov Pokorny, of Livonia, passed away April 14, 2024 at the age of 84.

He was born in Charlevoix, MI on January 17, 1940 to Anthony and Marie. He graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI and went on to serve four years in the U.S. Navy. Following the Navy, Don worked for Ford Motor Company as a pipefitter.

Don was married to Karyn (nee. Collinson) and they were married for 54 years.

Don is survived by his daughters, Wendy (John), Vicky (Tony) and Amy (Jay); grandchildren, Benjamin, Kyle (Airyana), Spencer, and Lucas; great-grandchild, Leo.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Karyn.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 19th at 10:00 AM with final visiting at 9:00 AM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154.
