Dolores Sydor

DOLORES was 86 years of age at the time of her death. She was a greatly endeared, long time bus driver with Clarenceville Schools. Dolores and her late, beloved husband, Steve, also operated a farm stand in Livonia, offering produce from fresh picked apples to pumpkins. Stopping by Sydor's was a tradition with countless families.

Dolores is the dear mother of John, Tom (former wife, Cherie), Ken (Cathy), and Steve (companion, Tina) (former wife, Trish).

She defined the concept of 'Fun Grandma' to her adoring grandkids:  Sarah, Katie, Kevin, Lindsey, Emma, and Sarah Marie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-8 pm and on Sunday from 12 noon to 8 pm. with an Evening Service at 7 pm.

Dolores will be In State on Monday morning at 9 am until the Divine Liturgy at 10 am at Sacred Heart Byzantine Catholic Church located at 29125 W. 6 Mile Road (east of Middlebelt) in Livonia. A Committal Service will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The funeral services will be Monday morning, time and location pending.
