Diane Marie Frushour, age 60, of Plymouth MI, passed away on March 19, 2023. Diane was a warm, loving, joyful, and positive person who lit up every room. She was a true ray of sunshine and the life of any party.
Diane was born in Detroit, MI on March 21, 1962 to her loving parents, John and Ada (McHugh) Frushour. She graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia, MI and received a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, MI.
Diane worked in payroll for Shaw Electric Co. where she was loved and appreciated by her co-workers. She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, jewelry and makeup, spending time with her family and many friends, and snuggling with her cats. She loved her Saturday night bowling league and traveling with both friends and family. Diane was a proud new grandmother to Allie Grace Tabor and was so excited to spoil Allie this coming summer.
Diane is survived by her two sons, Johnathan (Whitney Price) and Andrew (Casey) Tabor. She leaves behind three loving older sisters, Susan (Kurt) Kraly, Nancy Frushour (Gary Steltzer), and Linda (Daniel) Scott, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as family and friends, including Eleanor, William, James, and Michael Tabor. She loved her late cat Khaleesi and her newly adopted cat Vinnie.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, John & Ada, whom she greatly missed. She will be happy to hug her parents again in heaven.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 3:00pm at Manns Family Funeral Home, located at 17000 Middlebelt Rd, Livonia MI, 48154 with rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at St. Edith Catholic Church, located at 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia 48154.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shepherd Center Foundation at give.shepherd.org, which supports the work of Shepherd Center, a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in neurorehabilitation treatment and research. Diane was a passionate advocate for this foundation, which is currently supporting a close friend.
