Diana Louise Stahl

Diana L. Stahl passed away peacefully May 22, 2017 at the age of 66. She was born January 4, 1951 in Detroit to Roger and Leona (Nickasch) Stahl.   Diana is a graduate of Ladywood High School in Livonia, received a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s Degree from Harvard University. She served in the Peace Corp in the Philippines and the Care Program in Bangladesh and Africa. Diana worked for many years at Oakland, Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) and Monroe County Opportunity Program (MCOP). She taught at Gaudior Academy in Inkster and most recently taught for Detroit Public Schools.   Diana is survived by her sister Pamela Gehrke, nephew Gregory Gehrke, and many supportive friends and colleagues.   Visitation for Diana will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 from 12Noon until the time of the funeral service at 7:00PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154.   The family would like to thank the staff at Angela Hospice and request memorial donations in memory of Diana be made to Angela Hospice.
