David Drake Patton

David Drake Patton of Livonia, age 71, passed away May 3, 2016.  David is the beloved husband of Phyllis (Orr) Patton; dear father of David Drake Patton, Jr. and Kelly Patton Bekolay (Marc);   adored grandfather of Brooklin Bekolay and Samantha Bekolay; and loving brother of William F. Patton (Susan) and Uncle of Hunter Patton, Graham Patton, Richard Gray, Joanna Gray, Jadelin Hinkel and Christian Hinkel. David was born July 6, 1944 in Washington D. C. to Janis and David H. Patton.  A graduate of Duke University, David went on to graduate from the University of Illinois College of Law and would go on to serve as a successful Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) agent after law school.   Following his tenure with the FBI, David established his private law practice in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan until his retirement.  Family will be holding a Memorial Visitation on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Manns-Ferguson Funeral Home (17000 Middlebelt Road,(South of Six Mile Road) Livonia, MI.   A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodside Bible Church (28301 Middlebelt, Farmington Hills, MI).
