Darlene "Meeker" Strandbergh

Darlene Strandbergh, 85, of Livonia, passed away October 2, 2019. She was born in Detroit on March 30, 1934 to Royal and Helen Meeker. She graduated from Highland Park High school.   On March 12, 1955, Darlene married Robert Strandbergh and they were married until his death in 1988.   She enjoyed baking, knitting and crocheting and had the ability to play the piano by ear.   Darlene is survived by her children, Daryl (Jeanne), Don, and Cheryl; grandchildren, Lauren, Bethany, Alyssa, James, Neil, and Robert; great-grandson, Finnegan; brothers, Duane and Dave; sisters, Ilene and Karen.   She is preceded in death by her husband Robert.   Visitation for Darlene will be held Sunday, October 6th from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home.   The Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 7th at 11:00 AM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
