Christine Godbey (Traciak)

Christine Godbey, 79, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on November 30th, 2021.

Christine was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 22nd, 1942 to Bernard Traciak and Irene Klebanowski. She graduated from St. Gabriel High School.

Christine was married to her husband, Roger for over 31 years.

After working many years in the medical and insurance fields, she became a loving caregiver to her cherished grandchildren. She was a devout catholic who enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and laughter.

Christine is survived by her husband Roger, her children, Danny Schester, Sherry Steinhauer, Larry Schester (Kelly), her grandchildren Gage, Courtney, Kayla, Alyssa, John, and Lincoln, brothers and sisters, Bernard Traciak, Jr., Annette Pare (Joseph), Allen Traciak (Jeannine), Thomas Traciak (Betty), and the late Paul Traciak, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2nd from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Manns Family Funeral Home in Livonia. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 3rd at 10 a.m. at St. Priscilla Catholic Church in Livonia.
