Charles Thomas Blasco

Charles Thomas Blasco, aka "Chuckie Love and "Pops", of Westland, passed away September 11, 2015 at the age of 81. He was born February 24, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles F. and Mary F. (Kurisko) Blasco.
Charles was the loving husband of the late Sandra J. (Sailer); adored father of Cindy (Scott) Hermansen, Peggy (Paul) Ragnoli, Julie (Mike) Scherrer, Tom Blasco, Keith (Ruth) Blasco; proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren - Christie (Steve) Marshall, Joey (Jeremy) Hermansen, Mike Jr, Jeffery and Megan Scherrer, Alexa Ragnoli, Andrea (Kevin) Clark, Scott, Chris, and Kenzie Blasco, and Austin Douglas; and 5 great-grandchildren - Aryana, Stephen and Sophia Marshall, and Bella and Lincoln Clark; loved by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary F. and Charles F. Blasco and his sister Jo Ann Miller.
Chuck was a hard-working, fun-loving, avid golfer who finally went to meet his beloved wife at the 19th hole and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 1:00 – 8:00PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at MANNS-FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
Charles will be in-state Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 9:30AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook St, Livonia 48152. Burial to take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, 1299 N. Ridge Road, Canton 48187.
