Betty Jane "Luck" Walker

December 8, 1925 — October 8, 2017

Betty Jane (Luck) Walker   Betty Walker (Livonia) died at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. The beloved wife of the late Bill Walker, she is survived by her daughter Susan; sons Thomas (Jane), Scott (Pam), David (Susan), and; grandsons James (Wileni), Glen, Timothy, Andrew (Kate), Donald, Paul (Stacy), Eric and the late Jennifer. Betty leaves behind two great-granddaughters, Arianna and Emma, and one great grandson, Bert.   Born in Kalamazoo, she attended Western Michigan University studying Social Work. After marrying and having her first child, Betty quit work and became a dedicated, full-time wife and mother. Betty was always selfless and loving, thinking of others first. Betty loved to read, cook and garden. She traveled Europe extensively during her retirement years with her husband Bill and sister Myrtle Pelon.   Betty will have a small, family graveside service in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin where she will be buried alongside her late husband Bill.   Family suggests remembrance gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
